Didn't realize Heisey was in LF. This is what happens when you think the Reds are going to lose and you start watching late.

Joey wins the game with a SF instead of going for extending his hitting streak.

Finally, one of those they should've lost that turned into a W.

Arizona down in the 7th. Pittsburgh tied in the 7th. Could gain a game in the Central and wild card.

Next 7 are 3 vs Cubs then 4 vs Brew Crew. NEED to play some good baseball because after those we have a big 4 game home series with Arizona.

Cubbies gave the cards fits. Hopefully they wasted all their good efforts. Luckily soriano is gone. He killed us.

After Paul's bad game last night do you think they were at all considering DFAing Paul when they got Ludwick back and keeping DRob? Did Paul's big HR today save him from being DFAd? My opinion is that barring injury it always was going to be DRob optioned down and Paul staying. Who goes off the 40 man when Marshall comes back?

I thought that also....but Dusty, while big on "fast" is even bigger on seniority. He probably considers Paul a crafty veteran.....that and the old DRob has options and Paul does not. (I hate that reason)

Drob had options. Plus he can go down and get at bats. He needs them.

Bucs and Backs lose. Good day on the diamond. The Reds have gained a half game over the last 2+ weeks in the wild card, despite their performance since the SF series.

I would buy that argument if ya had said he sacrificed his games on in a row streak. that is a pitch he usually takes, but he did a good job in swinging, at a ball, for the betterment of the team.
