This (half) season has started off on an incredible note. I think we are in for one hell of a ride in the final 7 episodes.

Too bad it's $250.

I think Jesse kills himself after all he's been through. From Jane's death, to Combo's, to the other child's near death, discovering Mike's death, and all the others in between. I think Jesse ends it all.

^^^Hadn't thought of that. Definitely possible. Never really saw Jesse as that sort of weak individual. I think maybe more "suicide by Walt".
Maybe you could technically call it a suicide, but I think Jesse would be more likely to overdose. Problem is his character seems to have totally shed that demon.
I go back to this. In order, these are the biggest threats to Walt as far as evidence/credibility is concerned:
1) Jesse
2) Skylar
3) Lydia
4) Todd
5) Badger
Not sure what they do with Jesse, but ultimately I think Skylar is going to be the only issue here.

There is a powerful father-son dynamic with Jesse. I can't see a suicide, but it will be interesting to see how the writers remove him from the equation.

With just 7 episodes left I have a feeling the pace will not slow in order to get to wherever Vince wants to take things to their conclusion.
Now that Hank is firmly on the case, I think Walt will begin eliminating loose ends. IMO Jesse is still too central to the story. But Lydia is a problem. Saul can't be trusted not to take a deal when he inevitably gets pinched. Badger and Skinny Pete are also potential witnesses. And what about that white supremacist crew that did all those hits for Walt?
Something else to think about: why did Hank close the garage when he confronted Walt? We think we ultimately know what Hank will do, but he's clearly a bit conflicted. Not to mention, going after Walt would create some professional and legal problems for Hank, as well - can't be good for a DEA agent to have such close family ties to a drug kingpin.

Don't know. Don't think it matters. Once Walt even suspects that might be possible Jesse is done. Those wheels may already have been turning when Skylar told him Hank only had suspicions and no proof.Laley23;1488620 wrote:So, does Jesse rat on him??

Nah...I see him being pretty vague maybe hinting at some things
I thought this was a pretty weak episode, but it is setting things up nicely

The Lydia deal was weak and really stretching things.wes_mantooth;1488634 wrote: I thought this was a pretty weak episode, but it is setting things up nicely
I also say there's no way those two goons wouldn't have just stolen what must have been over $10M. Saul is a ***** and Walt has no muscle and no connections at this point.

He'll demand a deal, which Hank can't give him because Hank is running this solo. So Jesse walks out and then he's a marked man.wes_mantooth;1488634 wrote:Nah...I see him being pretty vague maybe hinting at some things

I was watching thinking "Why is no one saying to hank, you're doing well because of drug money, you're just as guilty!"
He at least brought it up at the end that if he turns in Walt his career is over. I think there was a little foreshadowing when Marie said "what will happen if they catch Walt and then find out you knew?" I think Hank ends up in jail.

I think Hank ending up in jail is a long shot.
It'd be funny if Walt hit the lottery with those numbers

I thought it was a solid set-up episode for the remaining six. It picked up right from the last episode and the after effects of everything knowing now.
I think Todd and his Uncle could be the threat that Walt is running from/ to. Not sure totally yet, but I see the Lydia angle becoming a little bigger.

Very possible. Hank is not going to have anything if Jesse doesn't talk, and I don't see Skylar talking.ptown_trojans_1;1488701 wrote:I think Todd and his Uncle could be the threat that Walt is running from/ to. Not sure totally yet, but I see the Lydia angle becoming a little bigger.
But remember his house from the beginning of last episode. Heisenberg's identity obviously becomes very public, which IMO must mean Jesse makes a deal because otherwise I don't think Hank would have anything to move forward with.

Jese is pissed they took his ricin and they won't even let him decide if he wants to die or not. Even though that wasn't really ricin and why would they care if Jesse dies or not since he's leaving.
Essentially all they did was setup a Walt and jesse conflict even though it was done retardedly.

Huh?? Jesse realized that Walt really was the one that poisoned Brock, that's why he was so pissed. Remember, he nearly killed Walt for it before, but Walt convinced him it was Gus.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1491175 wrote:I thought it was stupid.

Ummm, no, that was Jesse realizing Walt poisoned the kid. Although it did seem like a bit of a magical epiphany ("hey, they took my weed...OMG that's how they did it with the ricin cigarette!"). IDK, I thought Jesse knew they took the ricin. I didn't think it went back in the pack after Walt "found" it in the sweeper.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1491175 wrote:I thought it was stupid.

But I don't really like how they made Jesse go all whiny bitch all of a sudden. I get that he has a conscience, but the whiny bitch part is kind of a regression for his character.
And the gasoline thing was pretty ridiculous when we've already seen the house later and I don't believe it was burnt out.

That's what I thought too, about him finding out it was Walt that poisoned the kid, but I thought Walt poisioned him with the Lilly of the Valley plant or whatever, not ricin?
And I agree with your last sentence gut.
