Impressed that crawler bot went that deep to spam a topic.

UPDATE:

So I never got the Bose, but I just received an UE Boom 2 yesterday. Holy shit, for the size, this thing bangs.

Nice. I purchased this one last December. Got it for $99. We really like it; it's plenty loud and I've even used it in a rental car when I forgot my AUX cord.

Saw on some tech site that they rate that the absolute best value, if not one of the best overall.

Does not have a mic, though, for using on phone calls - correct?

You can use it as a speakerphone.

The app is also solid. You can turn it on remotely, link with another UE speaker, allow up 2 two more people to connect their device.

There is a new one out right now called the Aiwa Expos 9. You can only order it from Amazon or the Aiwa company. The sound quality of this speaker blows the competition away. Just look at the reviews from amazon or do a Google research on it. I was shopping for one myself, and I am ordering this bad boy this weekend.

i have these 2 -
Anker Soundcore - Really good sound quality IMO. Liked it.

http://www.amazon.com/Anker-SoundCore-Dual-Driver-Bluetooth-Distortion/dp/B016XTADG2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1463415273&sr=1-1&keywords=anker+soundcore

Oontz Angle - Not great Sound quality, but it's waterproof. i keep it in the shower.

http://www.amazon.com/Cambridge-SoundWorks-OontZ-Angle-Generation/dp/B010OYASRG/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1463415361&sr=1-1&keywords=oontz+angle+3

Some of these that others have suggested are not what I'd consider "mobile" but that's up to everyone's discrestion.

For the less mobile. I received this as a gift. I really love it. but again, it's not mobile at all (no battery).

Denon - DSB150
