Do patches for games automatically download for PS4? All my progress on Battlefield got lost because it said the file was corrupt. Read there was a patch but I don't know if I have it. It was released 3 weeks ago.

Battlefield still has a lot of problems.

Yeah, I saw something like 4.2 mill for PS4 and 3 mill for Xbox One...Both of those totals are very impressive.


I'm still playing AC4, I've probably played about 10 hours or so now, and I'm itching to play more but haven't had a chance the last few nights...great game.

Plus, it's on sale for Xbox 360 and PS4 for $29.99, which I think you can then upgrade for just $10, so not bad for $40...

Just beat and traded in AC4...Great game, and the first AC game that I have completed (I usually get bored and quit halfway through).

My next purchase will be Rayman Legends in mid-February...The last Rayman game was so good, and I've held off on this one waiting for it to come out on next-gen.

For now, I'm just playing some BF4 again and Don't Starve (PS+ free game), which I'm having a lot of fun with.

Too many games coming out in March, though, I wish one of those was coming out sooner. I'll be getting Titanfall and Infamous for sure, and there are a few others I might be getting, but I'm thinking Titanfall will be dominating my gaming time for awhile.

I actually really like the live function. I didn't get ghosts till I watched a lot of it on there. And I'll probably use it to watch other games I'm curious about. I've also checked out when some developers have had q&a's. But I've also turned it to stations where it's guys just passing a bong or a dude with no teeth rambling about how he hates black people. Reading the comments to that one was pretty hilarious.

Yeah I use it for seeing what games are like that I don't have. Also have used it for late night fun while drinking with friends.

FWIW,

I bought an XBOX ONE the day after Thanksgiving. I had a PS3 previously but loved the XBox's capability to shuffle to TV without changing Input. I thought it was the one for me. Within 14 days I returned it.

I then bought a PS4 and have never looked back.

The problem with the Xbox 1 was the following:

1) The Xbox didn't always recognize my TV when I clicked on it. It would say "not recognized" or something. I would have to turn off the xbox and turn it back on to work.

2) Madden didn't hear my voice and it was annoying because the kinect was touted as so awesome.

3) The Kinect was creepy. It would see you in HD quality video and just creeped me out.

4) It took me 45 minutes to get my son's 2nd controller to work on NBA 2k14. He wanted to play 1 on 1 with me and we basically had to create him an email account to play with me. I'm sure I could have just picked "guest" but it was not user friendly, not coming from past xbox gaming.

5) Fuck you for trying to get me to buy AA batteries. I coughed up $75 to buy a controller that charged. I just got pissed every day I picked it up.

Its pretty clear the PS4 is the clear winner in gaming and the gap will only get bigger.

I'm thinking about picking up the new $99 PS4 headset...seems like a great deal.

I'm waiting for some more user reviews, but I bet I'll order by the end of the week.

Get one. It's amazing. Playing bf4 is freaky. I hear people walking up behind me and sometimes I almost turn around because it sounds so legit.
