It's just off to the side. You wouldn't notice it unless you specifically looked while the highlight was going on. It even shows hockey! Actually during the season it shows every single hockey game goal I believe

I just looked at a localish newspaper's TV listings for sports today and saw nothing but Tour de France coverage at 8 a.m. on NBCsports. Since my name is not Bruce Monnin, I don't care about this and the sports world is dead to me at least for one day.

Just saw this. THIS. Fill it with extended highlights of every game. Pick one game to make the game of the day and give even longer highlights including some commentary and if there is time left over, then do the fluff pieces. EPL Review Show is the best in the biz. Absolutely perfect suggestion.

If the new fox sports 1 doesn't do anything to change SC then I don't think anything will. They have the market so cornered that it is engrained in people to turn to ESPN when they want sports news. Hell, I turn to the deuce to watch the bottom line more than anything. I forget about NBC sports most of the time as well.

Haha I remember every year he would always start a thread and talk about what happened each day. He was a pretty cool guy though.

I don't think Cool and Bruce Monnin go together! He is a very intelligent numbers guy, sort of a geek if you will. Good guy, yeah. But not 'cool'. He does his best work in the fall with the computer rankings and writes for the local paper.

I'm a little late to the discussion. I still find Sportscenter usually tolerable, but ESPN2 is diarrhea on television. First Take or whatever the show is where Bayless and company argue about the same stuff is terrible. Not only is the content overdone, but most of those guys are like nails on a chalkboard. I wouldn't listen to Stephen A. Smith argue about something I actually cared about. I had the Dan Lebatard show on for a minute yesterday to see what it was about, and it was just him and his dad and someone else yapping about random crap. What the hell could possibly qualify "Papi" LeBatard to be on television? And aren't those guys huge Miami homers also? Strike one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven for me.

The problem is, this time of the year is difficult to fill with sports. I only care about the Reds and don't give a shit about the AL East or Brian Cashman or much else with baseball.
