Really disappointed in Frazier this year. I thought he was going to have a break out year. Hopefully he's able to pick it up in the 2nd half.

Four of the last five games, just what you want on a road trip, the Reds take the early lead. The Reds, due to very poor situational hitting and base running, were not able to add runs like a good team should. However their two finesse pitchers were able to parlay their early leads into wins, while two power pitchers did not.

After Bruce hit into that rally killing 4-6-3 DP, Frazier picked him up by getting a big two out RBI for the 3 run lead to start the game.

Frazier leaves a lot to be desired with the eye, but he's played a respectable 3B and is on-pace for 20 HR's and 75 RBI's. I think many are disappointed with how hot he started. People automatically put him into the "guy you can count on" right away. Not so fast. It's only his 2nd full year. He's never going to be a great at-bat taker and won't ever be more than 5-hitter, but I don't think he's really the problem.
As much as he gets dogged, Cozart also isnt' the problem. Neither is Mesoraco. The issue is...with LF already down, it's hard to have 3 guys who are still growing into full-time players all starting at once on a contender (add a 4th if you're talking Heisey, Robinson). That really puts a ton of pressure on Phillips, Bruce, Choo and Votto.

Im not saying Frazier is having a terrible year I just thought he would improve on last year and that has NOT happened. Can you name 5 every day starters worse than Cozart at the plate? Meso is bad too.

The amount of hits Frazier gets off of that ass out, lean over flail swing is unbelievable. When he swings and misses it looks like one of us....but he makes contact enough to hit just enough average.
