The throw isn't his fault. The problem was he bumbled around for 3 seconds, looking for the ball. If not, he can run out 10 feet and easily throw him out.

Unfortunately, Hanigan is a God awful offensive player, while Mesoraco is a God awful defender. You compromise one way or another with either as your starter.

Reds won't win more than 1 game unless Bruce, Votto, Choo and Phillips hit like .400 for this series.

Seriously, nobody else can even get on base.

Votto didn't deserve an error on the first play. He should just eat that ball. Heyward can run. He almost put Latos on the DL...

Cozart with a great back-up, run saving, play, that maybe wasn't run saving due to the injury. Votto blooping his throws all over! Defense cost all the runs in the 2nd.

Didn't deserve an error? He threw the ball like an 8 year old girl, and was somehow still off target.

I wish they could give share errors -- they both deserved a half.

Yeah, it was a lollipop throw, but did you notice that even with that, Latos wasn't at the bag?

It was a terrible play overall, but it's hard to that's an E on Joey. If he fires it, Latos still loses the race to Heyward.

Changed to a hit on the Votto play.

Agreed, you can't give him a throwing error when the pitcher wasn't even on the base with a lobbed throw.

Latos may kill a few teammates after tonight.

1. Votto
2. Mesoraco
3. Phillips
4. Dusty, just because it would help everyone

Good hustle by Cozart causes some sloppy play by the Braves.

Can't these Reds hitters anticipate what the pitchers are trying to get them to do and take measures to avoid it to keep from ruining promising innings?

Looks like one of the cannon armed Uptons has learned how to hit, and the other is spiraling downward in his hitting because he refuses to do it like the other one!

Especially tonight. You know you aren't getting a fastball but a sinker. They're morons apparently

We've seen some awful approaches from Reds' hitters over the years.

I'm not sure any of them can match B.J. Upton.

He makes Corey Patterson appear to have a stealth eye...

Legit question.

If right now, you have to take Adam Dunn and Edwin Encarnacion back and start them in LF and 3B for every inning the rest of the year, do you do it?

To acquire them, you give up Heisey, Frazier and 2 B-level prospects.
