Tribe squadering opportunities early again, just like last night. Only lead 1-0 through the 3rd and it could be 3 or 4-0 with a timely hit.

Dickey will probably settle down now and shut us out till he is pulled.

Yep, that pissed me off. I was so mad. It took it from a more dicey situation (1 guy on means tying run is up) to a pretty comfortable lead for the Jays.

Now, it still got close and a base hit would have lost them the game. But that isnt common. That 3rd run was just inexcusable.

^^^yep...5 hits today but only 1 run to show for it so far. At least we are on top 1-0 in the 4th.

Im 50-50 on that kind of thing. He is coming off Tommy John and has only pitched a certain number of innings/pitches even in the minors all year. Kid has to bright of a future to fuck it up day 1.

But at the same time...once in a lifetime...

He needs a quick 6 pitch inning. Also, some runs would be nice. He is one mistake away from it all being for naught.

Just as we suspected a few posts ago.

Dickey settled in and has shut us down. had our chances to "blow it open" in the 1st/2nd and didnt get it done.

It crossed in the middle and high enough. But it had a lot of break and Gomes caught it near the dirt. I can see why the umpire missed it, but it WAS a strike.
