Playing the infield in after a one out triple paid off for the Reds! The was the Ms hve been doing their ABs with runners one, I would have bet they'd have gotten that run in, but if it was the Reds, I'd bet against him scoring.

Reds get a walk, bunt, and then don't score. cozart not trying to plink a hit in for a big 2 out RBI, but instead trying to hit it over everyone, and hits it good, but to the CF! The Votto leads off with a hit,and on a full count to BP, Votto is going abd can't even beat the force on a BO bleeder, and then BP is out by 40' at first to complete the DP on a paltry effort by BP at running. I've never seen anyone who slows down so much on his slide as Votto! An accomplished base runner would have beat that.

What was Joey's body language, just after contact on his HR, saying? Was it "finally got good contact like I should more often"?

Kiss of death for the Reds - lead-off hitter on 2nd! Did that ball take a bad hop toward the foul line(didn't show an angle that would show that)? Hard to believe Morales could miss that short a hop!

Meso, by not moving the runner, tripled the difficulty for Heisey to get the runner in.

It looked to be a little off balanced and it just went about 440.

Choo goes down on 6 pitches from the left hander to seal the non-scoring inning after runner on 2nd with no out. 3 breaking ball balls, and 3 fastball strikes, two taken and one fouled.

Really hoping to get swept this series. Griffey, Buhner, and Edgar Martinez will probably have 7 dingers each.

Good start. Hopefully we come out tomorrow and keep playing well. I bet we don't see Franklin. He was limping at the end of the game still.
