I bet Kevin Smith was cool as fuck.

Was Will Smith a dbag?

I met Lebron and Dwade last year at the OSU vs Duke game and Lebron on a yacht with his buddy Maverick and his gf/wife. Dwade had a friendly facade but Lebron is always douchey. Nice gf. Runs his empire. Met a bunch of OSU coaches including UM, Tressel, Jim O' Brian and Matta. Matta gave me his tie and Tressel a sweater vest from OSU vs ND game. Had dinner with Michael Owen once, he was injured then too. Got a high 5 from Ringo Star way back in the day and have a picture with Paul McCartney and whoever the drummer is of his band. Was most excited for the drummer. Got a kiss on the cheek from Mandy Moore and met all the bastards in Nsync. Those are my most memorable.

Hope that had a similar feel to a Dr. Heinz post.
Yeah, but have you ever purchased his old car?

Check the teeth marks left on the pencil found in the car to be sure.

Shooter Jennings' wife, more importantly. :)

I've met a ton of baseball players through my gig at the Green Diamond Gallery and various Reds related events.

Have had meals/media meals with:
Erin Andrews
Dick Vitale
Charissa Thompson
Steve Lavin
Jerry Tarkanian
Bill Raftery
Tony Stewart

Played pick up with:
DJ White
Eric Gordon
Jordan Crawford
Will Bruin - (soccer)
Jared Jeffries
William Buford

Played catch with:
Kenny Lofton
Albert Belle
Manny Ramirez
Carlos Baerga
Omar Vizquel
Jim Thome
Alex Rodriguez

Spent the 2nd half of a final four (Tampa, 1999) game with:
Derek Jeter
Jorge Posada
Tino Martinez
Paul O'Neil
Sinbad
David Wells
Scott Brosious
Bernie Williams

Played a round of golf behind Tiger Woods on the Cayman Islands, but they had a block of 2 hours to themselves. So behind is relative. I was never closer than 50 yards away. Also met Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner (yummy) on the beach that night. He played an impromptu guitar set for about 10 of us. Really nice guy...and likes his alcohol.

Played a set of tennis with Martina Hinges in Key Biscayne. Happened to be staying at the same hotel and reserved a court next to hers by chance. I actually won 11 points! Had a few beers with Andy Roddick and James Blake later that night in the hotel bar. Really cool guys.

I have met quite a few others, but it was just a handshake type thing or the type of event where they are taking pics/signing...so not memorable.

No doubt.

Do you call it bush league or a smart idea what he did to the reds a couple of years ago?
Before the game it is the home team that decides if the game should start or not due to rain. Once it starts then it is up to the ump. He started his reliever against the reds in a game that probably should not have even started. Reds use their starter, gets delayed quickly for quite a while, and as ML teams usually do they go to their BP after an extended delay.

Kevin Smith rocked! He also gave one of my coworkers a big bag of, umm, "herb" because he couldn't bring it on his flight to LA. And when he met my wife, he acted out the "Good Will Hunting 2" scene from "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" with her because I told him she was a huge fan of that movie.

Will Smith was nice I guess, he shook my hand, but I didn't have anything too intelligent to discuss with him (I think I said something lame like "Big fan!" or something standardly cheesy) ...

Had a beer with Bob Dylan once and was more or less told to "fuck off" by Bill Russell another time.
