I'm stumped whether it means any pitch or just a BALL? If it means a ball, I believe it.

I guess maybe I could see that....one ball off the plate in but even at that. I know he doesnt pull much, and teams are starting to attack him inside and getting away with it. For Joe to become an elite hitter in this league (right now I think he is well above average, a very good hitter but not elite) he will need to start handling the inside pitch with authority.

It's any pitch, it's true. Its from an SI article last year and Votto even talked about it. Said he has never hit a long home run foul.

Just seems unreal wtih the amount of AB's and pitches he sees.

I bet he does it more often though going forward with how teams are pitching him.
