A CRV is too small.

I need a mid-level vehicle...the Mazda CR-7 might have worked but it is back-ordered. Looking at the Bimmer X3 (which again, may be too big), the Audi Q5 (again too big) and whatever else is available that we can reasonably park.

Did you look into the Toyota Highlander I mentioned. You can get the hybrid version and tell everyone about it. :laugh:

Sounds like you might be looking for a size that just isn't available.

Are you sure length is the bigger problem, as opposed to turn radius? Seems like you are rejecting one size as too small, and rejecting something just 12-15 inches bigger as too large.

You're probably going to have to prioritize whether space or length is more critical. But if you get one of the vehicles that has rearview cameras and sensors you can probably squeeze into the tightest of spaces.

I think an X3 might work. The issue is the length, not turn radius (although that helps). The issue is we have to park on the street in certain zones. Other homes have parking in the back so we can't block their drive. This results in one vehicle spots on the street that can't hang over the drive (and the parking police come by every day). Around 180 is where we can fit it in (that's what she said) and not worry about being ticketed.

I got a Nissan murano and I absolutely love it. Has a ton of room and includes a lot of features even on their s model. I have the LE edition. I test drive probably a good 8-9 SUVs before we bought this one

I have an outlander sport and its has a lot of room in it. The car has no power at all though. Slowest thing I have owned in a long time. Other than that its actually a nice little suv or crossover whatever you want to call it.
