Ok, you are usually pretty bad with your posts and moderation, but this is actually funny.Fly4Fun;1461814 wrote:Ya, my bad. I guess I shouldn't have a nice comment towards someone such as something as simple as enjoy the nice weather.
I should instead consider that someone is either lying about their location or is on vacation somewhere but yet, still going to a slow pitch softball game despite the apparent terrible weather they could possibly be having.

Miller lite is a fantastic domestic.said_aouita;1461851 wrote:Miller lite is gross but unfortunately I do on rare occasions eat pizza rolls. Slow pitch softball is boring.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
This isn't a personal attack, just a helpful comment. Slow pitch softball may be boring to you because you have more of a runners body. If you'd man up(read some of BR's and AZ's posts about lifting), you may be able to bulk up and develop more power in your swing. I can't personally tell you how boring it would be to not be good at such an easy sport, but I could imagine it may frustrate someone. Maybe you could be the guy who chases all my homeruns? Laps around the field could add up to a substantial distance. Maybe that's still more of a sprinters game.
Let's keep brainstorming and we'll find your niche.

Are you good because of who you compete against? I played co-ed softball for our work team and did fine. Made base every time I was at bat, possibly because I could run faster than most of the other players.hasbeen;1461894 wrote:- I can't personally tell you how boring it would be to not be good at such an easy sport,
True I never did hit a home run but did not strike out once in the multiple games I played.
It was just my opinion- I think softball is boring. Enjoy your easy sport!

I play multiple levels of softball. Obviously, the more recreational leagues are far easier. I don't 'make' base every time throughout a season, but I'm not too bad. Your coed work softball team just screams high level of competition. If you're getting on-base because of speed, you're not playing anyone with a decent arm.said_aouita;1461902 wrote:Are you good because of who you compete against? I've never struck out in slow pitch softball either. Close to 800 bats(only about 4 years worth of playing) and no strike outs. The ball is being thrown underhand...how do you miss?
I understand it was your opinion and I was just trying to help. I will enjoy my sport since I am no longer capable of competing at my primary position in baseball(catcher) due to blowing my knee out in college football. It's a nice recreational sport to spend some time with friends and meet new ones.
Kind of like running a marathon...but with more talking and better people.

I'm watching Inception and going to bed soon. I have to be a work at 7:00 to start slicing rat brains. I don't know if I should work out, play golf, or go to the pool when I get off at 4.

Being so slow most likely contributed to the lack of talking or better people.hasbeen;1461985 wrote:4 days, 7 hours, and 36 minutes.
Keep working on it and you'll have a lot more better people and more talking!
Good luck.

I don't see myself training much long distances. It doesn't interest me.
Softball went well. Went 4-6, 3 2bs, 3 RBIs, 3 runs. My last at bat was disappointing, but I'll be fine. The team was happy with me(I was just a sub) so I should get invited back.
Thanks for caring.
