Maybe it's $5 for being a doosh. BR seems like he would owe an extra $15 for that.justincredible;1865068 wrote:Hidden lunk fees. They take out $5 per grunt.

I can't tell if this is serious or not. I learn something ridiculous about PF all the time and thus I wouldn't be shocked if this were true.justincredible;1865068 wrote:Hidden lunk fees. They take out $5 per grunt.

Stretching for sure, esp at your age. Can you describe your knee tightness more? Having delt wiht knee issues as well, I've done a ton of research and have probably had similar issues.justincredible;1865066 wrote:Lately my knee has been tightening up after my Wednesday night softball games so working out on Thursday is a little iffy these days. I'm not sure what's causing it, it doesn't hurt at all on Wednesday, but I'll wake up on Thursday morning and it's super sore. I'm going to try stretching tonight before the game to see if that helps.
Just saw this on Reddit the other day, and think it's a very good resource.

Ridiculous? I love that place. It filled the void for leotard gazing (now "yoga pants") once Victory Lady went under.like_that;1865073 wrote:I can't tell if this is serious or not. I learn something ridiculous about PF all the time and thus I wouldn't be shocked if this were true.

I'm not sure how to describe it any more than when I wake up on Thursday it is very uncomfortable to move/bend my knee. Once I start moving around on it, it starts to feel a little better, but when I stop moving it tightens up again. By Friday, it feels fine, absolutely no discomfort.

Versus being a p#ssy who actually thinks PF is a 'good" gym to train at? LOLSlyde-bi;1865071 wrote:Maybe it's $5 for being a doosh. BR seems like he would owe an extra $15 for that.

Hey, if your "thing" is hanging out with man bun wearing, Tootsie Roll/pizza eating gym "members" and want to call that a workout, have at it. PF trying to pass itself off as a legit gym is comical. But if training at Curves for Men is cool, enjoy.Slyde-bi;1865080 wrote:Thanks for proving my point.

PF is a great gym if you know what you're doing. But here we go with BR acting all gym high and mighty! Deja vu!
If you're going to the gym to "hang out" you're doing it wrong.

I won't begrudge anyone that's trying to improve their physical health, regardless of where they do it. PF isn't for me, but I won't judge anyone if it works for them.

I wouldn't call PF a "great" gym but they are definitely smart. Any place that hands out free pizza & Tootsie Rolls to keep their clients fat so they'll have to keep coming back is obviously doing something right.Automatik;1865082 wrote:PF is a great gym if you know what you're doing. Right. Instead of promoting good health and applauding those who are on a good path, BR chooses to be a d-bag doosh-nozzle about gyms. I hope he's got good balance. He's gonna need it from high upon that pedestal he's peering down from.justincredible;1865083 wrote:I won't begrudge anyone that's trying to improve their physical health, regardless of where they do it. Exactly. Point is, if you know what you're doing you can get in shape...anywhere. Including your own living room.justincredible;1865083 wrote:I won't begrudge anyone that's trying to improve their physical health, regardless of where they do it. PF is a good business model, but a crap gym.
Also nice to see pathetic sleeper using multiple accounts. This is the same guy that goes out of his way to tell everyone else to find a life [emoji23].

Oh, I agree with this completely. I have no real issue with PF as a gym other than the fact that they discriminate and offer crap food to their clientele for free and pass it off as "cheat meals."Automatik;1865088 wrote:Exactly. It's just a gimmick. If you're joining for those freebies, you're doomed before you even started.

You never called another gym or business crap? Are you just being defensive about it, because you worked out at PF?Automatik;1865092 wrote:It's just a gimmick. If you're joining for those freebies, you're doomed before you even started.

Oh yes, some locations are straight garbage. I just like giving BR shit because he's that get off my lawn old school gym guy. I grew up in a very old school gym, I get it.
Also, the fact that PF triggers him makes me chuckle.

So not allowing "lunks" in their gym isn't discriminating? If they said no "blacks" or "Asians" people would be in an uproar. Yes, it's discrimination. Not that anyone with any significant lifting experience would want to train there but it's still limiting who they will allow to join their gym.Automatik;1865092 wrote:It's just a gimmick. If you don't fit their clientele, find another gym. Again, why aren't you crying about Lucille Roberts?
You're a big powerlifting guy, we get it. Stick to the garage.
