Last night didn't help with that. Going from 7-1-1 to 7-1-1-2-1.1 isn't really what the doctor ordered. Especially when you then have a 13-hour turnaround before bringing out a guy making his second career major league start who only made it 5 innings in the first one.

Even the best have their off days, but damn, Grilli picked a bad time to have one.
