There are alot of people that should share shame in this besides the two that got tried. IMO atleat one other Big Red kid should have been tried and sent to jail . They hurt that girl and they also hurt there own families . They hurt our town and alot of people that had nothing to do with this crime. They tarnished our school and gave it a serious black eye.
Everybody is a loser in this . Parents need to teach boys about respect for young ladies first and foremost.

I know if it were my daughter I would feel responsible atleast somewhat. I helped teach my daughter better than that. All I am doing is saying alot of people failed in being responsible .

Let me explain this again . As for the rape itself ,I do not care how drunk or drugged up any individual is ,they do not deserve to have that garbage done to them . However if some young people can learn from this event then maybe a few girls will think twice about leaving with a group of boys who are also drunk,and maybe a few girls will learn not to leave friends behind ,and maybe parents will keep better eyes on kids when away from house . Im talking about a whole lot of people who failed with this girl. Her parents are definitly included in my book. she was allowed to run rampant along with all the other drunk hooligans. The main party that this took place was at a Steub Central girls house while the parents were away. There were kids from atleast 5 high schools at that party . I wonder how the girl in question got the booze that she brought to the first party? She brought some kind of hard liqour mixed in with a larg slurpy drink ,like the ones you get at Speedway .Could it be possible she got the booze from home? could it be possible her mother had purchased it for her? Maybe she stole it from home . Alot of questions have not been answered.
