Tribe comes home tomorrow (Friday) on a winning streak, and looking to push it to three in a row.
Fireworks and dollar dog nite on Friday. Fireworks and Kipnis jerseys on Saturday.

Justin Masterson (8-5, 3.68 ERA) takes on Gonzalez (3-3, 3.59) in the lid lifter.

Reynolds came up twice with the bases loaded in two innings...popped up and struck out on three fastballs down the middle. Maybe we need to bring up Lonnie.

Exactly. Chiz is one of those guys like Hagadone...that doesn't have anything more to prove at AAA, and needs to make the jump to the majors. I think at this point for those guys, it is a confidence issue...they need to realize they belong up at the varsity, and they need to play like it.

Reynolds has really been in a slump, and so has Swisher. This team really takes off if those guys return to form. For all the griping about the pitching, it was the slumping offense that caused the extended losing streak.

Hopefully they will, but unfortunately prolonged slumps have plagued both of them throughout their careers. The team feeds off of these two guys, and they really need to get it going if the Tribe's going to stay in the hunt over the long haul.
