Still wondering if this system is going to dip south enough to hit Dayton very hard.

yeah quite a bit of lightning and thunder and the wind picked up for a while. Sirens went off 2 more times but nothing really to get excited about.

Waiting on Classyposter's explanation on why this turned out to be an ordinary storm and not the 2-inch hail, 100mph wind infused beast he said it was.

Nobody watches the news any more so if they can get the weatherman to create a mass hysteria by predicting extreme weather people will watch. In reality all it ends up being is the little boy that cried wolf. Trying to predict weather any more is just a" cover your a--" event for them. IMO!

Btw We had thunder and lighting and alittle wind outside of Bluffton. I went to bed around 11:30 saw some lightning and went to sleep. Yawn!!!

I should also add..... that these weather predictions have become so extreme and broad because people know cant think for themselves any more and think they have to be told exactly when, where and what is going to happen and if they are not told that, then any damage their property may get must be someone elses fault.

I laugh at people like you that think because the weather didn't hit right near their little house, that it didn't happen elsewhere. There were places with tornado warnings and 2" hail.

Better to have too much hype than not enough warning.

Better to ruin the hockey game for someplace that didn't even get a drop of rain? Fuck that noise.

Storm hit pretty hard here in Delaware. I was directly in the middle of the worst of it lol. Like when they showed the small area of Delaware county that was going to get drilled, yep right over my house
