Here's a good link on the threat nationally for natural disasters. Obesity is not listed.

I've heard of wild fires in the valley (PHX) but never mudslides or earthquakes.
Mudslides and earthquakes are like way farther West, California........right?

I still think Flagstaff, Az. is the greatest weather possible.

No thank you. It was bad enough just driving through that area of Texas.

Looks boring as hell but I suppose if wanting to get away from tornado ally.........ok.

I forgot about tsunamis. And, yeah, there's volcanoes out west, too.

Oh cool, the media fucked up again and the death toll has been revised downward to 24 (or the other 27 have come back as zombies).

Is it basically they are physically found?

Last I saw was last night before going to bed, they said 51 confirmed dead? Does that basically mean they found their bodies?
Apparently they don't even know.

It's not a laughing matter, but still I thought it was funny watching one guy walking - with his suitcase AND his gun case. Yep, that's all you really need.

They're fine, but Jonas and his nightcrawlers didn't make it. Serves em right..They were never in it for the science, they were in it for the money.

Weird because last night my time, so like 4 or 5am eastern, cnn had the medical.examiner on and she said they don't count add to death toll until the body had arrived. Then she said we have 51 here and were just told 40 are on the way but wont add those till they are here.

Weird...

Looking at the photos and footage....if the death toll stays under 30 it is remarkable. That much destruction, you would think it would be in the hundreds, if not thousands.

Looks like I just gained a shit ton of respect for him. That's a lot of money, and while he extremely wealthy...that's a very generous handout.

Would Lebron do something like that if a hurricane destroyed Miami? Probably not before Durant just did.

Who cares if it's a tax write-off? So it's not impressive because it only cost him like $550k out of pocket?

Seriously, beyond generous. Usually when you hear about athletes and celebs being generous the amounts are more like $50k.

I'll take full disclosure. Moreover, I'll take the hands and feet that will be lifting rubble and building up a new city (if they choose to). The money, and its write-off are great. But it'll take people to make the biggest difference.

ps: You don't even no what that means; writing it off!

Yes, but they do. And THEY'RE the ones writing it off! ...gitty up!

Write a check to the ARC for 1/18 of your annual salary (if it's $50K, that's around $2800). It's a tax write-off, so go for it.
