First, UK got 8 fouls and only 2 points and 1 board from Dakari Johnson and Willie Cauley-Stein and still managed to win.

Second, seriously, how is Texas good this year? I never saw it coming in any capacity.

Some surprising scores. South Carolina is garbage and almost won at Ole Miss (Rebels down double digits, came back and won by 5. Northwestern wins at Minnesota. The Wildcats are single-handedly blowing the B1G up with spoiler wins. Sparty down late at G-Town. Who saw that coming?

Wichita erased an early 15-point deficit to win by double digits against Evansville.

Oklahoma State just isn't that good. Upon further review, Marcus Smart should've left. The only thing he'll win of note this season is personal accolades. I'm beginning to think that Travis Ford just isn't ever going to get it done when it counts.

Top to bottom, the Big 12 is the best.

West Virginia and Texas Tech, for being 8th and 9th, are not pushovers like the bottom 25% of most leagues.

Florida leading A&M 64-26 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd half.

A&M started 3-0 in the SEC and is about to lose their 5th in a row by an average of 25 PPG.

You know why couldn't they just put the court in the middle of the dome for this game instead of the corner?

They wanted to keep it intimate. And it wouldn't be nearly as loud if the court was in the middle.

Not sure but I'll assume a lot of thought went into it.

Good thinking, Thornton. Pass on the layup and toss it to the guy standing on the baseline.

Vegas with a thrilling, season-saving win at home tonight over Boise State, staving off what would've been a sixth loss at home. Trailed 10 with about 3 minutes to play and won by 4. Rebels improve to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in the MWC. This is a win to build on for UNLV.

As I've always said, I love the team; don't trust the coach. But the talent got it done tonight. I still envision another first round exit if they get in the Dance, but it's definitely a team that must be taken seriously because of the level of sheer talent.

Cal leading Arizona at the half by one. This had loss written all over it for the Wildcats being that they are just coming off a grind-it-out, three-point win at Stanford a couple of days ago and now playing on the road at Haas Pavilion in Berkley. But, to make matters worse, Brandon Ashley went down with a foot injury a minute into the game. He's out for the rest of the night and early reports indicate it could be a stress fracture.

Huge blow for Arizona, not just for tonight but possibly moving forward.
