Home viewers, how close was that? Looked safe from the bleachers.

Not only are they right on where they were last year. But they are also doing that against one of the toughest schedules to date.

It was close. But he was out.

I thought initially that the throw pulled him off of first. It didn't. Helluva play.

Definitely out. By at least half a step.

Yeah. The throw definitely beat him, but I thought the same thing. Looked like his foot was off but the super slow mo showed his toe still on the bag.

Wow. That is really surprising to me. I thought it was much higher than that.

They have played 3 of the 4 worst teams and 4 of the 5 best. Not really a lot of middle ground.

Yeah, playing 2 series' vs the Cubs and a 4-gamer against Miami is going to drive it down really far...

Nats, Cards and Braves are easily 3 of the top 4 in the NL (Pirates have the 4th best record also).

He did! Holy shit...he stopped being Drew Stubbs just long enough to get a nice shot in there.

Good job by Bruce. At worst, the lineup turns over in the 9th I hope.

Yeah, I think the Phillies DO suck and the Angels HAVE sucked. Angels, SMH...incredible. Not sure the Phils are even a .500 team...

How has Craig Kimbrel been this year?

Ordinarily Id say this is the game. But I think he has been human this year, right?

You know what's funny?

Coming into the year, I was most worried about Votto's running.

He was always a very aggressive and underrated runner. Pretty athletic for a 1B. He's looked great running actually...just an observation.
