Is it legal for this Walden to jump forward off the rubber like that?

This Reds offense is just so hard to watch. Seems like they never get a clutch hit.

LOL...how does the 3rd base umpire miss the trap call. Pisses me off that umpires aren't held accountable for being terrible.

X with a great AB and his getting on to lead-off the inning was foiled by an umps call that could easily be overturned by replay.

Well that would've been a run for the Reds.

Hard to bitch when they've given up 2 shots to the SS and a monster shot to a fast bench player.

I wouldn't call that terrible. That is hard to tell at live speed only seeing it once!se-alum;1439202 wrote:LOL...how does the 3rd base umpire miss the trap call. Pisses me off that umpires aren't held accountable for being terrible.

Braves prevail in starter vs. starter by 2 runs and by one run in the contest between bullpens.

Looked more like a trap live than it did a catch.mhs95_06;1439213 wrote:I wouldn't call that terrible. That is hard to tell at live speed only seeing it once!

Definitely a trap.
Then again, Cozart with a piss poor AB and Votto K'ed. Would've been up to Phillips with the bases loaded and 2 outs...not sure the outcome would've been much different.
Frustrating game to watch because despite the Reds having the tying run up 4 different times, you never felt they had a chance.

I thought I saw this when it first happened, but the Reds announcers didn't talk about it when they came back from break. Simmons tagged Choo between his legs on that pick off play.
