Can be, but the idea that all religions are cults is overly simplistic. Read Steven Hassan for a good discussion on the topic.

A waste of space and, if anything, support my line of thinking that all of this stuff is man-made and not any word of any god.



Well, unless you're of the opinion that your supposedly perfect deity is really a petty, jealous bitch who feels it necessary to command people four times to obey it first and foremost, not worship other idols, etc. before being like, "Oh...yeah, also don't kill, steal, cheat on your spouse and a couple other things...c-ya!"
This last paragraph...I can almost hear Sam Kennison (sp) screaming the same thing. Nothing against you Heretic, just watched a couple of clips of Sam on youtube last night.
