Since I cannot participate in the other skydiving thread or even send a PM to midstate.......just wanted to pass along a place in SW ohio that I have went a couple of times.

It isnt too bad. Thought it was pretty economical.

I only went the static line both times. Was pretty cool. First time I had a minor chute malfunction and couldnt get it untangled. It was still ok just no brakes or steering and crash landed pretty good. Felt it the next day.

The tandem they say is cool because you free fall.....but all you are is just strapped to someone and that seems a bit boring. The static line you are by yourself.

Free fall..they let ya do that as well for more training and more money of course. Think I will pass on that one until I get more jumps in.

SUPPOSED to be slotted for airborne school this fall but with budget cuts I am not sure if we will have enough slots.


It is pretty fun.......ya should try it!

Maybe someday. Thanks for the info. We live in Hawaii. So we will be doing it on the north shore of Oahu.

That my be a little more scenic then SW Ohio.

Hope the wind doesnt take ya off course and ya land in a volcano!

No volcanoes on this island. But tons of sharks on the north west side. You free fall over the area where Lost,Jurassic Park,and some other films were shot. Pretty cool.
