Did you read the first few posts? Not being a dick just seeing if you saw them...spirit charges for carry on bags. Found this out after I bought the tickets. So I was either going to pack incredibly light and pack everything in a bookbag or just check a bag. I just decided to check the bag and my girlfriends too. She'll have a purse she can bring on for free BLESS YOU FOR THE KINDNESS, SPIRIT :rolleyes:



Its some serious horseshit. Read the email from the ceo. He doesn't give a fuck lol

Yeah I read it, but couldn't recall and was too lazy at the time to look back. I wasn't sure if they charged for the "personal" item as well. Regardless, it's BS.

Flight was flawless this morning.

45 minute delay this morning was the only issue but it really didn't make a difference.

Flight was a little crowded but it was only a 2.5 hour flight. Just slept the whole time.

I am now expecting major issues on the return home.

Also, gf paid 70 (both ways) for her bag. I paid 90 since I paid at check in. So that sucked.

I usually fly united and am a gold level ff. (Work travel) usually i get upgraded. Wife booked these.

Well I'm back in Chicago.

Absolutely no problems with spirit. So ill take back the bad things I said about them before even trying them out.

There were small delays but overall everything was on time and no issues w/the connecting flight in Dallas.

So many people were trying to bring bigger items on as their free personal item. They were told they'd have to carry it on. $100 bucks per item. Fucking brutal.
