Sorry Cingrani, you left too early so Hoover will most likely pitch and cost you the win. /dustyd

He's here until Cueto comes back.

And maybe beyond if another starter goes down before Cueto gets back. Unless he gets another pitch involved more along with the fastball, this may be his best outing of his stint. I don't think he'll have that much success against better teams trying to get them out like he was tonight.justincredible;1428557 wrote:He's here until Cueto comes back.

Cingrani is staying regardless, IMO.
The Reds are better off having a lefty in the rotation, and if he throws 3 or 4 good starts in a row, I'm not sure how you can send him down and keep Leake around...

Hardest hit ball of the year by a Red, IMO.
That was a Wily Mo type HR.

I hate dustys use of the bullpen this year, but as far as the lineup has gone, ,hes pushed all the right buttons.

J.J. Hoover will pitch the rest of this game and get the start tomorrow night...he'll then relieve himself in a tie game in the 8th.

He's nasty when he's hitting his spots.

10% of Cingrani's total pitches were spent on one AB, the one that resulted in the only run of the game for the Marlins, the one that tied the game at 1-1.

Seems like a great guy who can produce real well, too. It is nice to see him be a full-time starter and really get a chance to shine now that he's not stuck behind near-retirement vets. If not for injuries to Rolen and Votto, would he have ever even gotten a legit chance to prove himself with the Reds?se-alum;1428791 wrote:Such a great moment!
