Dusty really sucks.
Votto is the GOAT.
Reds lose 4-3.

If I can find someone else to head down ill be there tonight. Love seeing debuts. And Azu said, the Marlins have a 20 year old stud pitching tonight. Should be a very interesting game to watch.

I would guess so. He wasn't out of last night for an injury or anything, was he? I assumed he was just getting a rest.Commander of Awesome;1428144 wrote:Will Choo be in the line up tonight?

YEah, still seems odd this early in the season. Maybe he want to get another player some ABs?justincredible;1428148 wrote:I would guess so. He wasn't out of last night for an injury or anything, was he? I assumed he was just getting a rest.

There's no telling, Dusty Baker manages the Reds still.

After Cueto went down I had to pick someone up on my fantasy team so I picked up Cingrani. I figured even if he only has 2 starts & them being vs the Marlins & Cubs he shouldn't be a bad pickup.
Really looking forward to seeing what he has

Cingrani probably won't pitch more than 6 innings, so our rested bullpen will need to close it out if we're up.

Cingrani gets thru the 1st with a zero after allowing the first 2 batters to reach, both on balls that were not that well hit. Young Fernandez looks pretty good, but he knows Votto's reputation and is respecting it, although Votto doesn't seem worhy of that much respect with what he has done so far this season.

Starting the 2nd time thru, Cingrani gives up a lead-off double, but again gets out of it pitching around Stanton with one out and a base open. But with his pitch count(60), it will be a successful outing from here getting thru 5 innings with a run or less.

Cingrani has always been a high pitch count guy, because of all the strikeouts. Thats why he's only pitched 14 innings in 3 scoreless starts in Louisville.

Well, his last start was only 2 innings to save his arm.

That's only a 6 IP average in the other two games. Not terrible, not great.

Well a Solo HR ties it... That's only Miami's 4th HR of the season & Cingrani is at 81 pitches through 4 w/ 6 K's

Big inning coming up for Cingrani. He's already surrendered the lead once, albeit just a run, but now can he hold the majority of it thru the 5th to be in line for the win, and can the Reds bullpen hold on?

So does Cingrani stay on the club?

I imagine he'll stay up and work with Price until his next start. The bullpen is well rested right now.
