Collison putting winning over money/playing time. Spurs could take him from the Cavs like they did with Belinelli.

Sources close to the situation tell HOOPSWORLD that Collison is positively preoccupied with winning, valuing it above money and above a starting role. He’s willing to take less and come off the bench if it means joining a team with a legit shot at a title. His camp has had conversations with a number of teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and even the LA Clippers, and he is not at all opposed to returning to Dallas if the Mavs land Dwight Howard and have a chance to win.

A writer from Minneapolis says that the Hawks are the most likely team to throw a lucrative offer to Pekovic. I read this on Hoopsrumors.com and this was a tweet from the writer's twitter that I would link to but its not working for me.

The Cavs would be incredibly stupid to give up on TT after the 2nd half of the season he had last year. I like Clark as a player...but christ, we just drafted a guy #1 overall who is the "hybrid" 3/4.

Some interesting stats on Earl Clark. It appears him and Bennett would fit perfect next to each other, as they are both "tweeners" and each can compliment the other's weakness.

Love that move. Didn't think he would leave the Warriors unless it was for a starting job.

Nice. Jack was great for the warriors and should give kyrie a guy to learn from.

I think the Warriors pretty much said goodbye to Jack when they signed Iggy.

All of the sudden, the Cavs depth chart looks something like:

Kyrie/Jack
Waiters/Jack/Karasev
Clark/Gee/Karasev
Thompson/Bennett
Andy/Thompson/Zeller

Should be a 40+ win and playoff team barring injuries.

Which is why I'm glad they signed Clark...with Gee in the starting lineup, that's a major glaring weakness in the starting 5.

It's not strong, of course. But it's not bad. With Gee, that's bad.

I like Gee, but he's a depth piece, that's it.

The question is, will we have the money to make the lineup look like this next year???

Kyrie/Jack
Waiters/Jack/Karasev
LeBron/Clark/Karasev
Thompson/Bennett
Andy/Thompson/Zeller

Then I am completely happy. Even though a ton of people out there say they will never cheer for LeBron again, if he were to come back next year (as is rumored by many people that are close to him), I have a feeling people's tunes would change very quickly.

You guys think Lebron will just come by himself? lol he's not going to leave his little buddies to play in Cleveland. Would probably need room for another high-salaried player.

There are players on the team who will be high-salaried players in time. Im sure Lebron plans to drag the corpse of Wade along with him at his next stop.

Kyrie (21 yrs old) >>>>>>>> Wade (31 yrs old)

Also, I think people underestimate LeBron's desire to be a hometown hero and bring a title to Cleveland. He is still in Akron A LOT, and I think he still wants to make good on his promises. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I've been told that personally by people who are close to him.

I'm not at all talking about that. Lebron will want to bring Wade, so the Cavs will need to find the money for him, too. And he's not going to take a min contract to play in Cleveland to appease Lebron lol

Obviously I'm not a full retard and know that Kyrie is better than Wade. Just saying for those who are saying we have enough cap room for Lebron, it's going to be more than Lebron coming to Cleveland.

Just don't think Lebron will go by himself...he obviously loves playing with his "boys"

I don't think Lebron is coming to Cleveland, by the way.

Houston is saying they won't trade Omer Asik...but if they give up on that, I'd love the Cavs to get him. True center and is a 10/10 guy.
