IT's really not a big deal... People need to come to grips that these guys are all friends... It's well known that LeBron, TT, and Kyrie are all super close. These guys play basketball, it's not that serious. If they want to hang out and whatnot while not playing, what's it really matter?

People seriously need to get over LeBron. He made the right choice. He's been to 3 straight Finals and has won 2 of them. Can you honestly blame him for leaving?

Now, I do honestly think there's a solid chance he comes back. The talent on the Cavs is going to be better than Miami sans LeBron. Kyrie, Dion, TT, #1 pick, and whatever else we keep/add... And for anybody who says they wouldn't take LeBron back isn't a true Cleveland fan, IMO.

I'm a Cleveland fan #1. I'd take Lucifer himself if it meant winning a championship finally.

Bullshit. So assuming he was alive you'd take Art Modell back as an owner? If you say "yes", I'd say you're not a "true" Cleveland fan.

There's also a big difference in "taking" him back and "wanting" him back. We may have no choice as far as taking him back. As far as wanting him back? No thanks.

I don't think it's necessarily that simple.

Some would describe their wanting to keep LeBron off the team after the betrayal as a sign of integrity (Such as BR) while others would look at it as stubborn pride (such as yourself).

It's not a simple situation and how one views it is a reflection of what their values are specifically regarding sports teams (whether it is more important to win in a certain manner or whether winning at all costs is okay).

I'm guessing the same people that wouldn't mind having LeBron back also think that as long as the rules allow for it, flopping is okay. (But this is really just a theory with nothing to actually back it up).

Hey...Cleveland wasn't good enough for him before and he didn't have the sack to stick around. Now that his current team is gonna suck (in a few years), time to jump to a better team that's been reloaded so he can get a few more championships? Screw him....let these young guys run with it on their own and see what happens.

Because I'd like to see these younger kids try to do it themselves maybe? I don't want to hear the "well, yeah....the roster was upgraded but you couldn't do it without Lebron." He made his choice, and had every right to (leave). It would be a helluva lot sweeter to see Kyrie and these younger kids do it without him. I'm not one for taking the easy way out.

CoA just posted a realGM mock draft in the general NBA thread that still has the Cavs taking Nerlens Noel. If the Cavs do take him, does this increase or decrease the chances of LeBron comign to Cleveland? How long would it take for someone as skinny as Noel to develop the necessary muscle to go out there and not only take the abuse but stand his ground from that front lines that the Bulls or Pacers have? I feel like it could even be 3-4 years before he's ready to go toe to toe with some of the muscle that is currently out there in the Eastern conference.

I really don't think it matters either way. I think the only thin that would HURT him coming to CLE would be to draft porter and have him have a Lillard type of season bringing us semi deep into the playoffs. I really truly believe (I know you guys don't give a fuck about my "sources" but I heard it directly from his guy's mouth) that unless Dan Gilbert says no, Lebron will be back. The only way I see him saying no, is if we find a player that can both defend Lebron and take us deep into the playoffs. I think Noel/Len/Mclemore have no effect on LBJs decision next year

Haha no. I live in the (Ohio Chatter selected) best city in Ohio - Columbus. And I have never been a waiter. I was a cook in HS, though ;). But no, I've just had the pleasure of meeting Lebron, and Maverick twice now. They're not nearly as bad as people make them out to be. Lebron knows he fucked up with 'The Decision'. He feels bad about it. I'm not saying its forgivable. But if he does come back to Cleveland, that's at least a start.

Honestly to me it's how he came back would also factor in. He comes back with an attitude like he's doing us a favor etc, I'll be the first one to tell him to GFH.

No, basically I want him to resign here bc he admits he made a mistake. A parade, LBJ day etc would be getting off to the wrong start. If he comes back (I dont give a fuck either way, and I don't think he is coming back) I want him to know he made a mistake and bent cleveland over a barrel in front of the world. He needs to apologize, say he wants to make up for his fail etc... Honestly I would rather the Cavs beat the Heat in the eastern conf fainls and win a ring on their own and for him to see how much love Irving/Cavs get for wining a ship and he realizes what a fucking fail town FAILami is and then hangs himself. Or tears his ACL in the preseason.

Its really not going out on a limb saying Lebron will be back. I just hope the FO doesnt draft/sign FAs in anticipation for him to be back. I dont think they would do that, however.

Tristan and Dion weren't discussed till the night before the last two drafts. The more talk goes towards Len the more I think they lean another way. Agree with you I think it's Noel. I'd also love to see the Cavs trade the two 2nd rounders & Gee for one year of Paul Pierce. Then still do the #19 for #13 and Marion deal. Hopefully we could get Steven Adams there too but if not trade #13 and either Kings or Griz future first to move up in a position to get him. That last trade is getting a little carried away though.

But either way you have the 2013-14 Cavs:

PG: Irving/Livingston
SG: Waiters/Ellington
SF: Pierce/Marion
PF: TT/Noel
C: AV/Zeller/Adams

Healthy that's a playoff team. Maybe not an East contender but enough to get the young guys experience and a veteran to teach them the ropes. And hopefully ohiobucks is right...

I've read some rumblings about the Cavs looking to sign Collison or CJ Watson in FA to back up Kyrie. I'd cream if we got Collison. Really like his game, especially as a back up.
