I also love about Len is how well he runs the floor. Very athletic for his size. And he is a crazy hard worker

Most of the beat reporters are saying they would be very surprised if the Cavs took Noel. Len seems to be the hot name at the moment. What a shitty draft class

But they are also morons. Because mateen cleaves said about noel: id tell him two different things we couls work on him with a jumper, and a jump shot.

Arent those the same thing. He wasn't joking either. I think he just hadn't thought it out.

My problem with Noel is he doesn't have a jumper, barely any post up game, he has crazy athletic ability but he is so raw and won't help us this year or probably the following year. He needs a ton of work where Len can contribute right away and he needs to add about 20 more pounds and a left hand. IMO Len is the better pick over Noel

This is the first draft in a long time where I just don't know. I don't like any prospect, and I want to win. Not sure which prospect works for that, I've gone back and fourth on every prospect and can't decide.

This is why, like many NFL teams do, they should go BPA, even if that means a guard. Just don't take a big man to take a big man.

Cavs didn't shy away from drafting Kevin Johnson when they had Mark Price. Worse case scenario, you have a future trade chip and it's not like Kyrie is the most reliable (injury prone).

The guy I like the most in this draft is actually Caldwell Pope. I think he may end up being the best in this class.

I wouldn't mind some sort of Porter/McLemore and Zeller combo. I think Cody is going to be infinitely better than his brother, and his body of work in college is much greater than Len or Noel.

I'm high on him too. Probably my 2nd favorite prospect after McLemore. If we ended up moving up from 19 back into the top 10 and came away with Porter and KCP I'd be pretty happy.

I don't like any of the post players in this draft. Pretty much all about the wings. I'm hoping to come away with some combo of McLemore/KCP/Snell/Bullock/Porter.

I like the Greek Freak too, but he'll have to be kept in Europe for another couple of years so that would be more of something I'd look at making a move on if he slides into the 20s.

Looks like Z and Vitaly Potapenko(player-development coach) are both pushing for management to select Len at #1.
Alex Len #1 Is Possible: More than a few teams are changing their tune on the possibility of Maryland big man Alex Len going number one overall. The story goes that Len and new Cavs’ player-development coach Vitaly Potapenko have a little history and that both Potapenko and Cavs assistant general manager Zydrunas Ilgauskas have been pushing for Len over several others in the field. The Cavs will meet with Nerlens Noel today, but the chatter of Alex Len going #1 overall seems to be gaining real momentum. As the general belief is Len who is recovering from an ankle surgery in May, is more developed offensively and that he may be able contribute sooner than say Noel who is out until at least December.
There is a lot of time between now and the actual selection at #1, but the chatter of Len going one overall seems to be real.

If they don't move up from 19 would you take the Greek Freak(Adetokunbo) at that spot? If they don't take a player that will be overseas for a few years, until 31 or 33, I say go for Lucas Noguiera and have him work with Varejao some more.

Heard yesterday that if they do the Marion trade with Dallas that they have a specific player in mind at 13. Supposedly love some 18 year old Russian named Sergei Karasev. May have been mentioned already.

I would definitely consider it. He's a huge gamble, but if there was ever a draft class to take a risk like that this seems like it. I don't think too many guys on the board at 19 are going to make you regret the pick if it doesn't work out.

Still on the Noel bandwagon. He is ahead of schedule and every team doctor he has visited with says they have no worries about his knee.

So what about these rumors that popped up last week, that you have ‘epic bad dudes’ around you?
“That’s foolish for anybody to say. That definitely bothered me. I heard some crazy things about myself. Seeing what was said, it was definitely provoked by agents that I didn’t meet with. I was mainly focusing on rehab and I told my advisor that. I told him, ‘Just tell them I’m not meeting with any agents.’ I guess they took that personally. That amounted to them talking negative about the people around me, thinking my advisor was the one that was putting them to the side, when I really told him I didn’t want to meet with so many agents so I could focus on my rehab. But it is what it is. They’re going to say things. I didn’t let it get to me.”

What was your reaction when you heard about the rumors?
“It was shocking. I wondered, ‘How could they say this stuff about me?’ My mom and my advisor and my agent are the only people around me. There’s nobody bad around me. You’ll never see me with too many people, nothing you’d call an entourage.”

The more important question most teams probably have about you is: How’s the knee?

“It’s going great. I’m still ahead of schedule. Everything’s going very well. I’ve been able to do the catch-and-slides on the court. I’m jogging. I’m really starting to do some advanced exercises in rehab. No jumping yet. I’ve been shooting, doing a lot of form shooting.”

What’s the timetable – if there is one – for when you might be available to play for the team that drafts you?

“Yeah, I’d definitely say around November, December. Everything is moving ahead of schedule, so I’m looking forward to a strong comeback. I’m being careful, listening to my physical therapist and Dr. (James) Andrews about when I’m able to come back.”

What did the Cleveland Cavaliers (owners of the No. 1 pick) and their medical staff say when you visited this week?

“The doctor said everything was perfect. All three teams I’ve been to said it looks 100 percent fine and I’m definitely ahead of schedule. It’s all been positive feedback.”

Which teams have you visited?

“Cleveland, Washington, Orlando (top three picks). I’m not going to Charlotte (No. 4 pick).”

Amico is becoming terrible and is only after page clicks instead of caring for his reputation.

Jock sniffers. A lot different than it used to be when Bird, Magic, Jordan, etc were playing.

Wishful thinking. I don't see him coming back and, frankly, I'd prefer he didn't.

He's coming back. It doesn't matter whether we like it or not. All that matters if if Gilbert is willing to accept it.

I really don't know how I'd feel about LeBron coming back.

I would probably be okay with it. I've always had conflicted feelings towards his situation. One one hand I was happy to see him lose to the Mavs. But then I was also kind of happy to see him shut up the Skip Bayless's of the world.

I really just wish he was able to shut up his detractors while remaining with the Cavs instead of running off too Miami.

It was really hard to see a hometown kid get drafted by the hometown team, not reach the level of success that the hype built up. Then he left the team in a particularly brutal manner and then start the meet the level of expectations set by the hype.
