Other than appearing to be college-aged kids, I could not determine ethnicity or race (one appears to be darker skinned, I wouldn't say black). Heck, they could be middle eastern and still be American born.
Made me mad - first thing I thought when I saw the one kid was "Columbine-type loner". Just my impression.

The guy in the white hat def looks middle eastern. His pointy nose,chin and beard look very much like a middle eastern.
Wonder how long till more pics of these guys show up from other people.

But then again in one of the other pics I don't think the white guy has a beard. Might just look that way from the pic being blown up.

He may look middle eastern, even to many. But you can't determine that from a blurry photo, which is probably why the FBI just let the pictures speak for themselves. At least we got some good shots of the white hat. Someone should recognize him pretty quickly. Rick Deslauriers (FBI GUY) said they have the White Hat guy putting down his backpack on video. They are choosing not to show the public that, because it's not important. To me that seems important, but maybe they just want help in identifying them.

The only "important" thing we the public need to see are the pics and video the FBI released. However, if they can get even clearer pics, then we should see those as well. There's no need whatsoever for us to see anything else.

I think the white has is a Ralph Lauren polo hat with a number 3 om the side. On redditt someone already has put a picture up of suspect number 1 from behind
