This is sounding more and more like the work of a rogue, extremist outfit, and not the experienced planning of a terror cell. Could be wrong, but it doesn't really matter anyway. Either situtation is horrible.

If they've got somebody in custody, then we'll have our answers soon enough. Unfortunate. It's been a long while since we've had to really worry about "terrorist"-like activity here in the States.

Now saying no injuries at the Library. Speculating here, but that could have been a symbolic target.

4 total blasts. The 2 at the Marathon, the 1 controlled., and then the 1 at JFL library.
No one injuried at the JFK one.

So far NYP only source I see reporting 12 dead. I hope that they are wrong.

I notice the NY Post is the only outlet reporting more than 2 dead at 12. Either they are really on it, or they really suck. I lean towards the latter.

Glad I'm not the only one suspicious. They tend to be more tabloid-style journalism, no?

Regardless of the motive... I enjoy seeing protest. People standing up for what they believe in is rare these days

Only thing I can think of is that he's referring to something unrelated. Or he's just really fucking dumb. https://twitter.com/BooBysWorld1/status/323906447282941952

Saying they are worried about cell phones used as triggers. Still unclear to me that they've actually found other devices, but have exploded unknown packages as a precaution.

Bruins game canceled. People ordered to remain off of streets.

May have killed cell phone access because they were used to detonate bombs.

One of 2 things. Either the network is so flooded it cannot hand the volume. That is possible.
Or, they are jamming the signals to prevent IED.

Still too early to say for sure.
