And somehow, by some messed up logic in your head, you made it seem way more important than those confirmed dead, and others fighting for their lives.

Regardless, I shouldn't have posted without having a drink first. Ha. My apologies to the kid from Van Wert. What legs!

Come on rec..just stop

I should have kept my mouth shut. What I said came out way too sarcastic for a thread such as this. My apologies.

Both bomb where placed against a building , to direct the explosive out into the crowd, the first seemed to be directed in a up ward direction
From the photo this was a c4 type bombing the ball of flame is my first thoughts, from my vietnam experience tells me this, the larger amount of white smoke is also a c4 type profile. Note this is only from my knowledge of c4 from nam. I'm a old guy who once used explosive This is only my opinion

The NY Times is just sort of updating what happened, but nothing really specific. The question of the hour is obviously whether this is an authetnic Al-Queda-sponsored attack or just some insane Terry Nichols fan.

Obviously both are bad, but to think the Al-Queda are ready for "round two" is a scary thought.

They controlled an explosion in Copley Square, and apparently there was another (uncontrolled) explosion at JFK Library.

So intelligence isn't seeing anything that makes them think it was a terrorist attack from someone overseas. Or at least they see no chatter of that.

Saudi national...But unless they have clear evidence, I don't think backpack proves much since there were probably at least half a dozen, maybe more, backpacks in the vicinity. It's a long race, you have spectators bringing snacks and drinks and family members hauling some gear for competitors.

Yep. JFK Library is on the campus of UMass-Boston, which is south of the city center by about 4-5 miles.

Someone said the Director(?) of JFK Library is contradicting that report, saying it was just an unrelated fire.
