Best block of all-time by a guard? I know it was called a "foul" but 0% chance it was actually a foul.

Not sure if the best of all time, but it was damned good,
Thing is....that gets called a foul alot, which is confusing because they allow guys to mug one another under the hoop on rebounds and put backs.

He got jobbed on fouls twice.

Because they call anticipation fouls, which is what they did there.

Best Burke block was the one Beulein did in keeping him out of the game. I love that scUM has had a succession of dumb coaches in both football and basketball.

Shannon Scott had a few this year that were very good for a point guard.

Yes, dumb coaches play in the Final Four and BCS bowl games.

Well, when the replacement comes in and scores 17 points in the last 17 minutes of the half, and I believe missed just one shot during that time, I dont see that it was dumb to sit Burke for that long.

He gets his third in the first half and he is on shaky ground for the whole second half. I imagine he kept him sitting because the other guy was lighting it up, and they opened up a big lead until it evaporated in like 5 seconds. Decent chance burke comes back in if the team was struggling.

It worked out for them, and them losing had nothing to do with how he used Burke in that game. He was able to play to the end, take the offense on his shoulders and score 15-17 points in the second half and play aggressive because he didnt pick up that third foul in the first half.

Alot of national analysts alot smarter than you or me (...ok you) are saying the same thing I'm saying. Don't get me wrong personally I loved it, but if Burke stays in that game scUM wins it going away. Nice Job Skunkweasels!

They win it going away because Burke scores more than 17 more points in that half with only missing one shot? Or if he stays in there is a pretty darned good chance he gets a third foul, has to sit even more in the second half.

I am not buying it.

His replacement in that time did even more than what burke would have, extended the lead out pretty good before the end, and did just fine.
