They're staying within striking distance. I have a feeling it'll be close at the end.

I hope they play like this on Sunday...but they won't.

Actually, they've been tough defensively tonight. Withey has at least 7 blocks and he has affected probably more than a dozen others. Carolina better be hitting shots from the perimeter because they won't get anything at the rim. They won't be able to defend Withey either.

I get the aggressiveness by WKU, but it was the same with Noel this year before his injury. There are other holes on the defense...why do teams continually drive in and put up weak FG attempts against great shot-blockers? If that's the strategy, go at him 3 or 4 times with a knee to the chest/face and try to dunk it. You might get offensive fouls, but at least you aren't intimidated. Throwing up scoop lay ups does zero good...

WKU shooting 14% in the 2nd half and Kansas fouls twice in one possession?

And another foul....lol

Self should tell them....well, he should tell them to stop fouling. WKU hasn't a FG since Tuesday.

I'd rather go down going 1 for 40...it's a 1/16.

Gophers keeping it in the 9- to 13-point range against UCLA. Bruins can't make a run despite Muhammad being really good this half.

WKU had their chances. Missed a lot of open looks and some easy ones at the rim.

Top 5 draft prospects were pretty pitiful in round 1. Smart going home, Porter going home, Shabazz probably going home, McLemore doing nothing tonight. None of them shot well or showed any kind of "difference maker" ability.

Can't say I'm sad to see LDII and the Wears make an early exit.

Minnesota is just kicking UCLA's ass now. Is Howland done if they lose?
