No. End of story. If you don't like it, don't post. There are many reasons behind the approval process, but censorship of topics is not one of them.believer wrote:Good then let the topics go "live" immediately and move them to the 'appropriate" forum if they don't belong on the political forum...problem solved and feelings don't get hurt.LJ wrote:Your claim is baseless and bullshit. No topic is censored, topics are approved on the basis of followng the rules, no more, no less.

Now I am not a union supporter or anti-union, BUT you cannot blame all of this on the unions. NOBODY has mentioned the outrageous salaries and bonuses the top managements from almost all companies receive. WHen you have top mgmnt receiving millions and millions of dollars with a company that is LOSING money, something is wrong. I work in an industry that pays VERY good wages and I do not feel bad about it at all. I work for my money just as the management teams do and deserve a good wage. If these top wage earners of the top 100 companies would practice what they preach, you would see lower prices on the final product. You do not reward people for failing....

Sorry, not trying to keep he argument going, but I DO have an example of where there was topic censorship. You PM'ed me and said you were not going to allow it. That is a 100% accurate representation of what believer is describing.
The topic was why "fu*k, sh*t, near-naked women, etc." were allowed on the other forum, but I couldn't come out and call someone "stupid" on the politics forum. I wasn't bashing in my questions, nor were they in dissent. I was only asking, and in turn, wanting the huddle's opinion. You said NO!
Sorry, but I just had to provide the factual information.

Over regulation of our markets by our own government has made it cheaper to produce things overseas. Solved.
Also members of industry in bed with politicians to get subsidies and things to help themselves hurts the economy as a whole.
There is no incentive in this country to produce cheaply and efficiently, our regulations actually punish these practices. Good economics is always based on incentives, and rational self interest.

You don't have an example. #1 that was not a political topic, nor was it censorship of a political topic. #2 It has been said many times that the rules are not up for discussion. #3 if you can't discuss politics without name calling, you don't need to be discussing politics on this forum.

OK. Well, the topic wasn't allowed, so I provided the example anyway.
