whats up with your feeling towards travis? did he hurt someone in your family or just whipped someone from your school? how many kids have pinned 3+ kids at the state tourny? rep the central ohio kid this time of year cause in a few weeks everyone will be talking about the lack of top end wrestlers in central ohio.Dust_E_Roads;1393530 wrote:Good call on Gutapfel. I had my NE Ohio blinders on. I think Northwest's Daniels might also be in contention. Ol' man Gusan's dream of Travis "pinning his way to the title" might have multiple road blocks.
one champ last year looking to have three or four this year
to answer the question the ds kids wreslers real slow and safe a good style againt guys who throw and that makes all matchs tight. (remember the h darby heavy and barlow w central) it should be a good final this saturday looking forward to reading your comments on that after he becomes a two time district champ im sure youll have something to say about his shoes or t shirt

You need to take a chill pill, brother. All he said was that he didn't think the guy was goina pin his way through the state! He had a lot of pins last yeat, but that was division 2, and this is the big leagues. I'm not picking against him to win the title, but four pins? I don't like the odds.coachchuck;1393671 wrote:whats up with your feeling towards travis? did he hurt someone in your family or just whipped someone from your school? how many kids have pinned 3+ kids at the state tourny? rep the central ohio kid this time of year cause in a few weeks everyone will be talking about the lack of top end wrestlers in central ohio.

^^^ Thank you.
Folks on this site (and his father repeatedly and publicly) have been talking about him "pinning his way to the title". It just gets a little tiresome. I went on the record in earlier posts that he wouldn't pin his way through sectional or districts, let alone state, if he didn't figure out how to pin Akutsu, no matter how many times pops shouts it out.

Comparing divisions in wrestling isn't the same in other sports there's plenty of times d2 or d3 have had tougher kids in certain weight classes I think the only big difference in divisions is typically there is more depth in d1 but once you get to state there's no easy matches

trever, I talked with her at the Olympic Trials last year and brought up some MV wrestlers names. V and her family remebered you. She went 2 and 2 out there. Still a great person and athlete with an awesome family. Glad to hear from you.

Yes it is. I was just commenting that for someone to say he was going to pin his way to a State Championship was a BIG statement to follow up on. The comment wasn't about Travis, it was about the statement made.powerdouble;1395078 wrote:I think he pinned 3 out of his 4 matches... pretty good if you ask me.
