Yep. Everyone just rushes to try to be the first one to report something until waiting until they have actual confirmation. It's ridiculous, and I'm so sick of the reporting around events like this.

Hardly strikes me as the kind of rational revolutionary whose ideals are worth killing and dying for. Perhaps we don't know the whole story, but either way, this guy turned out to be all smoke and no fire.

He ended up killing 4 people (at least) even after people became aware of his manifesto, and he may not even be dead yet (havent found a confirmation yet). I wouldnt say he was all smoke even if he is dead.

He was on fire at the end. Does that count?

I'm down here in Southern Cal (Irvine), and it's CRAZY how many people around here think he's "innocent" or that people have "rushed to judgment too quickly on him" and that he was "just standing up for what he believes in." I'm amazed.

That the LAPD has had a history of violence and corruption is not evidence that this one person is anything but a wack job, which is what the rest of the evidence suggests.

Compared to his seeming delusions of grandeur, I would still say he was. Any thug can kill someone.

No, I'm just saying... I'm shocked. But I guess I shouldn't be. Apparently I give these "fruits & nuts" too much credit.

It will be interesting when journalists start digging into the facts as he stated them in his manifesto (and you can bet they will quickly...) He was extremely twisted in the way he handled things but I can definitely see the Thin Blue Line tagging this guy for expulsion from the club for being a whistle - blower. Its ironic that he blew the whistle on a chick-cop for perp brutality to get the ball rolling back in '09. Killing the CO's daughter and husband was a complete coward's move and this guy is no hero for shooting other cops, but if what he says about LAPD in general turns out to be true, he will become a cult hero in the Thugger community.

@girllovesports: I don't know what was better in Dorner's manifesto. The fact he called Mark Sanchez a rapist or the shoutout he gave Giana Michaels. Hahaha

It's being spread on more than just Facebook. If it isn't real then several news websites have been duped and are reporting false info (which wouldn't be a shock nowadays). Huffington Post and LA Times among those I've read it on.

Yeah, credible sites posting it are making me a little less positive it is fake. The one posted on the first post of the thread has actual names in it along with none of the random ramblings at the end.

These two women will receive no less than $2 - $3M each before this thing is done and if this Atty is worth a shit it could go even higher. Nobody will ever know really how "traumatic" this episode actually was because you can be sure they are being coached to play the ultimate victims to gouge the City as much as possible.

Moral of the story, don't hire someone to be a cop if hes 80% retard.

I would think being surrounded by cops and having your truck shot up with no warning would be pretty traumatic. Don't think they have to act any at all. I don't begrudge them any money at all they can get. Hope they bleed the LAPD dry.

I think $2-$3M is on the low end of fair - they were shot at and injured!

And remember this is a CA jury. They will get at least $10M each - if one of them had died we'd be talking $100M.

I hope officers lose their jobs. Otherwise it's not LAPD money it's taxpayer money. But it's all CA so fuck 'em
