n the manifesto posted online, 33-year-old Dorner promised to bring "unconventional and asymmetrical warfare" to officers and their families, calling it the "last resort" to clear his name and strike back at a department he says mistreated him. According to authorities, Dorner began making good on his threats a week ago when he allegedly killed Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, in a parking lot in Irvine, south of Los Angeles.
Quan was the daughter of a now-retired Los Angeles police officer who represented Dorner in a disciplinary hearing that led resulted in his termination.
Timeline in hunt for Dorner
Days later, early Thursday morning, Dorner allegedly opened fire on two LAPD police officers, wounding one, in the suburban city of Corona.
Roughly 20 minutes later, Dorner allegedly fired on two police officers, killing one and wounding another, in the nearby city of Riverside.

Yeah they shot some 71 yr old women in the back. She has lawyered up. The police chief has personally apologized and made arrangements to have a new truck donated to her.Pick6;1386167 wrote:^Just related to the case. Pretty sure the LAPD is getting into some deep shit for shooting up what they THOUGHT was the suspects truck (which is gray).

Pretty much.Rotinaj;1386356 wrote:So the police have open fired on 2 seperate trucks for practically no reason?
Looks like it. Looks like this Dorner guy's won, no matter what happens. At the least, their reactions to his actions have pretty much shown the world that the LAPD is apparently loaded with incompetent trigger-happy psychos.Rotinaj;1386356 wrote:So the police have open fired on 2 seperate trucks for practically no reason?
Other than the high likelihood that he's dead.Heretic;1386431 wrote:Looks like this Dorner guy's won, no matter what happens.
Which I don't think matters much to him.queencitybuckeye;1386453 wrote:Other than the high likelihood that he's dead.
Just a logical alternative for his not being seen for a number of days.sportchampps;1386527 wrote:What makes you think he is dead or do you just think he will end up dead.
Yep. I'm not sure LAPD could've handled this any worse.Heretic;1386431 wrote:Looks like it. Looks like this Dorner guy's won, no matter what happens.
