Off topic...but my son will be attending his first NFL game when we go to the Hall Of Fame game. He gets to go out on the field with the players during pre game ceremonies.

I know, cool story. Or not.

Very cool story. How old is your son? I would have loved to have had that opportunity when I was a kid.

He's 11. He's pretty excited. Plus he found out that Hall of Famer Joe DeLamielleure is going to be at our tailgate party, so he's excited that he gets to meet him too. Lol. Yes, I know he has no clue who he is, but he's been in the news a lot around here because he walked to Canton....from Buffalo. Thats the only reason he's heard of him. Lol

Inspiring. Oh, and if you have a weak stomach for nasty injuries, beware. The after images of his leg...you gotta be kidding me.

didn't Bo Jackson have a dislocated hip? Isn't that what forced him to retire?

It was related to it, but I dont believe the direct cause was the actual dislocation.

He didn't get it treated correctly and lost blood flow to the femoral head, causing it to die. (I just watched his 30 for 30 again the other night)

I saw that a few times as well. They originally thought it was just a hip pointer. It probably was bad that is popped back in when he fell down. If he hadn't they probably would have look a lot closer at it and found it. It is injuries like this, among other things like $$$, that have teams baby players so much for sometimes the simplist of thing. They want them to get tested and tested for so many things on what most think are routine injuries. Would this have saved his career? Quite possib;le

Good. I found a 30-40 pound weight gain a little hard to believe between rookie mini-camp and today.

Curious what the explanation is for the photo I posted though.

Seems like bad angle is the answer
According to David Woods of The Score, the photo on the left is from OTAs earlier this year, and the photo on the right of Lacy looking rather large is from training camp this week. The photo was originally posted on Packers.com before being passed around Twitter on Monday. In an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from July 13, Lacy might have given an explanation for his apparent weight gain.
In Green Bay, Lacy admitted, he's been splurging too much on fast food. During off-season practices, he weighed in at 238 pounds, a high number that, believe it or not, might be kind.
Even if the photo is just a bad angle, it's clear that Lacy has gained some weight.

What would your top 10 WR's be? Here is Cris Carter's http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9517295/nfl-2013-training-camps-cris-carter-top-10-wide-receivers

I think it's a complete joke for him to leave Andre Johnson off.

Mine- C Johnson, Fitz, A Johnson, Ju Jones, Green, Dez, D Thomas, White, Marshall, Welker.

This is all off the top of my head but here goes:

Calvin Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
Brandon Marshall
AJ Green
Andre Johnson
Roddy White
D. Thomas
Dez Bryant
Julio Jones
Victor Cruz

Doing player rankings is one of my favorite things to do, haha.
