Ya, this obviously is a big deal for the NFL. Having a high profile athlete arrested for murder never looks good for the league. And it really doesn't help that he's from a high profile franchise that usually is considered to have great discipline as far as player behavior while members of that organization.

Not really a case though, Stallworth came clean from the beginning, and there were other circumstances involved (even if Stallworth wasn't legally over the limit, he may have hit the guy anyway).

Exactly. That was totally different and as you said...good chance he hits the guy anyway.

Dont think it was posted in here but there is an article from a few years in the dayton paper about Matt Light. He was from Greenville ohio, played at purdue, and was a member of the pats for 7-8 yers before retiring. Met him a couple of times...good guy.
He mentioned in the article that he never subscribed or believed in Hernandez and what he stood for.

Seems like he has always been a POS

I know Matt Light's mom's best friend. She's a substitute teacher in my district.

True story.

“There was a photo that was shown on the Internet of the defendant holding a Glock .45,” McCauley said. “That Glock — there’s good reason to believe the firearm that killed Mr. Lloyd was a Glock because the Glock has a rifling system that is different than most firearms.”

McCauley also revealed that investigators found more evidence when they executed a search warrant on Wednesday on a condominium leased by Hernandez. That evidence includes ammunition of the same caliber as the ammunition found at the murder scene.

That would be a HOF level of idiocy if he used the same gun to kill a guy as he tweeted himself holding at some point even if it was a few years ago.

He might want to start considering a plea deal, as it seems that more and more evidence is coming out as the days pass.

Not to mention, you have to know he knows his accomplices will likely flip on him if given the chance if others start getting arrested in connection with the murder.

Loyalty to the gang flies out the window when you are facing 25 to life and have an opportunity to cut down your time by cooperating.

Possible motive is that Lloyd knew of the double murder now possibly linked to Hernandez from 2012.

From Schefty..
Boston PD has located red SUV with RI plates it was looking for as identified in July 2012 homicide. Aaron Hernandez rented it.
This dude is a serial killer.
