Probably. Ozzie Newsome signed him, so he must be HOF material.

Bingo. He would never take a bust. Only guys who become canton busts.

David Garrard looks like he's walking away. He was probably the best QB the Jets had.

This is completely random and has little to do with NFL, but no clue where else to put it.

Worked with a guy today who ran a handheld camera for the Super Bowl a few years ago. Jesus Christ, he makes a 2 years salary for some for 2.5 weeks of work. Over $100,000 when overtime was figured in. Granted, he is the best cameraman in the business, but still...

That is crazy. I figured those cameramen got paid pretty well but would have never thought it would be that much lol.

Not all of them do. Handhelds on average get a lot more than the other cameras. And when you are as good as this guy, you get paid even more. But yeah, anyone working the Super Bowl is going to make at least half their years salary if they want.

I was working with a Director at BGSU who is contracted for every weekend with ESPN and then takes the summers off completely and will fill in with some Yankees games if he wants cause he loves the Yankees lol. Dude was 31 years old. FML.

My parents neighbor is a camerman for monday night football. He owns a few hundred acres and a big house. Has no other job. He every once in a while does work for other companies like the memorial or something like that. But basically its just MNF and hes living very nicely.

I understand moving the start of the league year for FAs, but why push back the draft? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9295316/nfl-close-shifting-draft-sources

Yeah I really like the draft when it is. I don't get why they would move it back...

Also since I read this regarding the Pro Bowl but what is everyone's opinion about them having captains and then they pick their team between the 88 Pro Bowlers. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9291834/nfl-mailbag-pro-bowl-shaky-ground

I always watch the game for the most part but I think it would be cool and even better than the game itself just to watch who the captains were and who they picked.

Being reported that Michael Crabtree (49ers) tore his achilles and may be done for the season.

Not surprised by this figured it was going to happen once he didn't get the money he was looking for.

As for Crabtree that sucks for him he seemed like he was finally coming around to be a good player last year.

I worked the speed channel for the Toledo speedway arca race last weekend.

The cameraman I gripped for works every NASCAR race but was in town because NASCAR had the Allstar race. The guy I was talking about was the other handheld out of NYC. He was there cause the Knicks were on the road lol.
