The Bengals laid down and the Jets beat them in NJ. They then came back and beat Cincy at PBS.

Hard to say it was a bad move as the Jets had a rookie QB and weren't that great...

But I think/thought that game was moved to the 8:00 NBC game giving Cincy the knowledge of whether or not they needed to try to win.

It was flexed because of the Jets being able to get in with a win. They were a media darling that year. The Bengals already had the North clinched. They basically chose to lay down and take their chances facing the Jets the next week. It failed. So yes, you're right, but I don't know how it really favored Cincy. They had the division clinched.

Ok....it shouldn't have happened as it did screw over someone's chances. I'm thinking the Chargers

I agree. But they couldn't resist having a national TV party for the Jets...

with den playing at 4, NE won't rest players. The move of that game time forces all of the division winners to play starters.

Good God I can't stand Dez Bryant.

I hope he drops a ball in the endzone as time expires to lose next week.

Cowboys will probably get the train ran on them by the Eagles offense next week. I would point out that it is a home game for Dallas..but they don't really have a home field advantage. I would also point out that the Cowboys shut them out earlier in the season, but the D is decimated and both team are pretty much going in the opposite direction. Maybe if Sean Lee will come back it will be enough. Fully prepared for a beat down in week 17 with the playoffs on the line just like every other season.

Romo out for the season with back injury. I doubt they would of beat the Eagles anyway.

Jason Garrett said they haven't made any decision on Romo yet. But the reports are he has a herniated disc that will need surgery.

Blame Romo! Can't wait for Orton to suck dick and prove it was dumb to give him a bunch of money to be a backup.

Also I loved how on sports center after garretts press conference shefter said that Romo was out for the season and we could take it to the bank.
