That's what I thought on first glance, but no he didn't!mhs95_06;1554333 wrote:Ravens defender held him down from jumping to catch that ball, didn't he?
Failure to call obvious PI on the play that would have given the Ravens a 14-12 lead was a crucial unfairness in the game. Both teams played very hard.

I think #53 was going to get him 15 yards down the field....but I'd had kept going.Azubuike24;1554339 wrote:Why doesn't Rice take the TD? You're up 9...

Stafford was awful tonight, just a deflating loss. Dropped passes, bad calls, that horrible no call, and most of all 3 turnovers were too devastating. This Lions team has enough talent to be better than 7-7, disappointing

Ya remember what RB has the most carries tackled for loss and lost yardage in NFL history?bases_loaded;1554388 wrote:Reggie Bush loses a lot of yards going sideways
Barry Sanders.
336 times tackled for loss for -952 yards.
I remember a local guy who blocked for him told us one time that Barry was a great guy to block for, but there were times it was frustrating becuase he would not go to the hole but instead try to break it outside for a big play, and found himself losing yards and it would drive them nuts when on first down he would not go to the hole and then lose 3-4 yards putting them in second and long and if he had just went into the thole it is second and 7. Sometimes as a RB the worst that you should strive for is putting your head down into the whole and getting 1-2 yards instead of dancing around and going side/back.
but on the flipside....sanders was an amazing back and some of his signature runs may have never happend if he had put his head down into a hole for 2-3 yards!

The way Yahoo links to the story on the home page of Yahoo Sports brings the "laugh at the little bitch" lulz, though.friendfromlowry;1554437 wrote:God damn I'm sick of hearing about Dez Bryant.

We have the potential to have several week 17 "playoff" games depending on how this upcoming week plays out.

The schedule of games needs to be that no one can rest everyone because outcomes are already known.... As much as possible. The Patriots, Bengals, Dolphins all need to play in the same time slot. The Broncos and Chargers the same slot.like_that;1554806 wrote:We have the potential to have several week 17 "playoff" games depending on how this upcoming week plays out.

If the Bengals beat Minnesota, Baltimore beats New England and Miami beats Buffalo this Sunday, the Bengals will enter week 17 against Baltimore. They will get a first round bye with a win and with a loss (and Miami win), they would miss the playoffs entirely. From the #2 seed to the #7 seed, with 1 result.
Crazy.
Crazy.

Looks like the NFL has done a good job making week 17 count as much as possible by giving every game the time slot they should based on game location.
Cincy and NE in the same slot is a must.

Biggest game for the Dolphins since Marino retired.

I am up 20 in my championship game so far, I assume i will end up 10-15 pts ahead at worst. He has crabtree and dawson on monday night. Unfortunately I have fucking lesean mccoy and foles, who might not even play a whole game. I picked up Matt Ryan and the falcons backup rb just in case.
Not sure if I should just stick with mccoy and foles and count on them both to at least get me 15 total, or should I go with Ryan and the backup rb?
