I'm pretty sure Chris Carpenter drives a Mazda 6....I bet it was him.

Downer. Those are cool little AWD cars. Of course it happens during the winter and snow.

In all seriousness I worked as a Security Guard over 20 years ago. By luck one of my buddies back then made the Cincinnati Police Dept. I checked with him about all this and it was a Mazda 6. They don't have a name yet, but they sent me a pic of the probable suspect. Dude is even drinking in the picture.

Leaving the scene of an accident is not a felony. Not even if you're completely shit faced intoxicated. Unless there was harm to another person, then it probably is.

I'm not speaking from experience.

My wife passed that info to me. I just asked her for a link or to GTFO.

Well I don't have a link either, but a friend of my friend's cousin's uncle left the scene of an accident with a parked car. While the "hit/skip" chargers were dropped, they were only a misdemeanor charge. Or so he says...

Are the police involved or are you just running an amateur investigation?

Reps if you make a citizens arrest.

I posted it on here when it happened. They hit the driver side door just right where it hit both the door itself and the panel behind it. It was obvious they took a turn into the parking spot next to me a wee-bit too sharp and it got away from them.

I had pictures of it, but I can't find them now.

He filed a report with the police but there isn't much they can do since we don't have a license plate.

I think he was planning on contacting the nearest Mazda dealership today to see if there was anything they could do if, say, a local body shop put in an order for a new front bumper for a gray Mazda 6. Assuming the local body shops would order parts through a dealership. Not sure if that's the case or not.

Yeah, that's basically what it comes down to. They took a police report from me and told me I could "print it out online in a few days".

I never bothered since I only had collision on my car. I did seek out vehicles in the immediate area, but found nothing. Whoever it was had a yellow car and was thus probably a drunk female.
