I don't have to support it to discuss it. It's no less negative than fooling yourself with wishful thinking.

series you are right you don't have to support something to discuss it. However, it is very interesting how the only time you say anything is to bash a coach or be negative about the season.

I will always be a wishful thinking individual when it comes to Orrville sports. I want them to win...you are right we were fooling ourselves a little bit this year when we started 4-0. But you know what...I did not see that happening before the season so it was a nice surprise. This years team did not lose to one team that you sit back and say we "should have beaten".

Agree most did say we should beat Madison and Wooster and even Clear Fork but when it doesn't work out in their favor it somehow comes back to you and me Series. Not sure what role we played in losing 6 straight of which 5 were NOT playoff teams and losing 56-0 to your so called rival. But we are being negative? What exactly are the positives we should see from a team that was worse in Week 10 then Week 1 and arguably checked out in the end??

You guys would be negative if the Riders were 11-0 and lost this weekend. You guys seem to think it's the coaches fault that you're not playing for a state title every year. You guys lack any sense of being able to think rationally. You guys are the worst-of-the-worst....Monday morning QB's who never really played/coached the game, yet think you know more than everyone else. You guys search for the negative regardless of the situation. You guys need to find somewhere else to troll, Orrville athletics and fans are better off without you.

RRN and Series, Did we get worse? The competition got better for sure. Kind of funny the two loses Triway has is to lower half of the OCC and WH who fell apart in the season. Did Triway get better or did the competition get easier as the season went on?

I did not pick Orrville to start 4-0. Old rider and RR1 did. That is why I was surprised.

If you really want to talk about what could have been...Look at Dyson (Wooster) and Johnson (New Philadelphia) both were Orrville kids at one time. Johnson only scored 25 TD's this year and broke the New Phili rushing record and Dyson had a great year once they started to use him in Wooster. That would have been fun to have them both on the Riders team. Both great kids from what I hear which is even more refreshing.

ccfolly...you're on the Orrville thread enough to know that the coach was getting the credit for leading the Riders through the winning seasons prior to last year. Than why shouldn't he receive the credit for the last two losing seasons. Is that not "rational thinking"?

My comments have no effect on Orrville athletics or the fans.

I can see that they don't have the talent, I can also see that they don't have the head coaching talent either.

I was at the Medina Highland/Massillon game on Friday. Highland was tiny-Massillons line was about a big as Ohio States. Let me tell you why HIGHLAND WON: Coaching, discipline, and execution period!! No helmets off even on the sidelines, constant hustle and a coach that was not ntimidated by bigger players. And they tackled very well. All things missing in the Ville

I assume you are speaking of me...wherein is my "criticism" wrong. Wherein did I lie about anything I've said that is construed as negative? Not the place to bring up a "former basketball coach" It has all been said and he is no longer here...thankfully!

Highland didn't have that great of talent. I mean they were only 28 points better than Wooster who dropped a 56-0 shellacking on you, and who may still be scoring touchdowns at Rider Stadium at this very moment. Stupider by the post...
