You take his word for it...great. What kid would admit that he said that to an adult? I put the same faith in the word of our kids who said it happened.
I'm not accusing anybody of lying. They easily could have just mistaken those words being said by someone else in a hectic hand-shake line, and simply shared what they thought they saw/heard. Absolutely no harm there.
I will openly admit that we have some boneheads on our team that would say things like that. There's NO doubt there. Haha! (I don't condone it, but it's reality.) And if I had any thought that the claim against one of those people may have have been the
least bit true, I would have just left this Orrville-heavy thread alone instead of butting in. Haha!
But knowing Parker and his family how I do, I wanted to speak up. I understand my opinion counts for nothing, but I did not want to leave it go unaddressed. Can't fault me in that, as I would expect any Orrville fan to defend their stand-up student-athletes just as much.
