It certainly hurts momentum. Hopefully Quinn will be given the starting job immediatly next season. Trade DA at the end of the season!

No. In our last two wins, he has thrown for less than 100 yds. He does not deserve next year. Let's find someone else. Get rid of Quinn, use Anderson as a back up and let's go find a Real Quarterback...

Nothing should be guaranteed or handed to him. He had his chance and played okay. I'm not saying that he shouldn't be the starter next year, but it should definitely be an open competition.

I'm a little surprised Ratliff isn't given a shot as the starter.

Great:
What exactly is wrong with his foot.? The article isn't very specific. Why can't our guys have some of Hines Ward in them. Get out there and play. He finished the game IMO he should try unless his leg is ready to fall off or broke.

Here's a different article, but it doesn't give any more info than the other one.

Probably an adverse reaction to his weekly pedicure.

Brady Quinn will not be a starting QB in the league after this year. His ability to hit the receiver in stride and on target is horrible. I do take into account the line play, however his arm strength is a serious question, which compounds the accuracy issue.

Get rid of him, and let's see what we get in the draft this year, plus a free agent to be a tutor to the rookie.

Great. Three years into Brady Quinn's career and he has started 12 games?

I would really like to see Brady return as the starter next year, but I am deferring to Holmgren. Holmgren is a helluva QB coach, so whatever he says, goes.

This is where I'm at, too.

From the sounds of it, the injury wasn't very serious and would have kept him on the bench for a couple weeks if this were the beginning of the year. But since the season is almost over...IR.

Yep, it shouldn't have any long term consequences. He'll be ready to start next year.

DA will come in and throw for 328 and 3 TD, one pick, lose

and we'll be right back where we started.

No we won't.

Holmgren will be on-board and he'll be involved in making the QB decision. I'm okay with deferring to his judgment, especially where quarterbacks are concerned.

I don't doubt there will be a complete re-evaluation of the QB situation, and there could hardly be a worse management of the information given publically in regards to who the QB is heading into a given week let alone the begining of the season. I'm okay with MH evaluation too. But you know as well as I a good day by DA will bring those demons to bear by the fans, of that there is little to argue. That's my point .

It's hard to view this as anything but good for the team's future. Certainly, Holmgren has been evaluating Quinn enough over the last few weeks to get some kind of feel for his ability to be a future starting QB and now he gets the same opportunity with Anderson.

Knowing what we already know about these two QBs, I can't imagine Holmgren will keep both for next season and neither will probably be the starter. I would not be surprised to see Anderson get cut, Quinn get traded (new water cooler and a box of Gatorade mix?), bring in a veteran (Kerry Collins?) and draft a rookie in the third or fourth round.

No matter what, you know they will have a real gameplan for the position that doesn't involve benching a starter to save a couple bucks.

I refuse to watch or listen to any Browns game with DA at quarterback.

I'm hopin they give Quinn a shot and wait till next year and be able to draft (hopefully) Ryan Mallet from Arkansas. This kid is the real deal IMO. It's possible he could make an attempt to come out this year and possibly fall to the 2nd round, although highly doubtful. He is the best pro-style QB in the nation IMO.
