so if he was in fact "hoaxed," he was in a relationship with someone he never met in person? that doesn't make any sense

While the proper authorities will continue to investigate this troubling matter, this appears to be, at a minimum, a sad and very cruel deception to entertain its perpetrators.

he's gay - Notre Dame has some serious issues with gays and repression. My wife went to ND, and so many gay dudes she knew had girlfriends and went on to like marry them and shit while leading gay repressed side-lives.

There's tons of people out there who do that. Hell, there's enough that they made an entire TV show out of it on MTV.

This. Plus ND needs to pay a fine too for defrauding the media with fake stories to give them publicity. I'm thinking at least a million dollar fine and a loss of a scholarship for the next 5 years.
