When you do time, Justin takes away all your amenities except one bar of soap, a Motel 6 towel and a pack of cigs for bartering.

ESPN reporting 2nd interview with Whizenhunt went well (well for who?...certainly not Browns fans) but I'd love to see it happen just so I could call it Haslam's Mistake on the Lake.

Jimmy Boy switched gears on everybody and went back to another No Name - Chudzinski. I guess Billionaires just don't have as much swag as they'd like to think they do when it comes to hiring football coaches. He was panicking and went for the first guy to say YES.

Well Browns are pretty much guaranteed another 3 yrs of ineptitude.

...at the presser

ESPN - Mr. Haslam can you tell us what separated Coach Chudzinski from the other candidates?

Haslam - Yes, Coach Chudzinski has a rich Cleveland area background and we thought it was the right fit.

ESPN - I mean, what specifically in football terms gave him the edge?

Haslam - Coach Chudzinski grew up being a Cleveland Browns fan and knows the culture.

ESPN - I'm sure we can all appreciate that, but what in terms of Xs & Os made him your choice?

Haslam - Growing up in Cleveland and still having family in the area gives him intangibles that other coaches we interviewed didn't have.

ESPN - Sooo, pretty much in summation Chudzinski was chosen because he has local ties and thats it? No other attributes? Won / loss experience? Innovative strategies?...just the fact he's from the Cleveland area?

Haslam - Yes. and we are confident after interviewing dozens of other Top Name Coaches we found this guy.

Haslam -

I guess if you have ever lived in the Cleveland area and the Cleveland Clinic needs another heart surgeon you can apply for the job based on the Haslam Hiring Principle.

Yeah, the fact that he's considered one of the "young, brilliant football minds in the NFL" really had nothing to do with it.

I heard Jimmy Boy was to be outside the stadium handing out Kool - Aid today, sounds like you already got your dose.

Nope. Got my "Kool-Aid" from Ross Tucker on Sirius XM this morning. Tucker is not a fan of the Browns and usually rips them to shreds. He LOVES this hire along with the addition of Norv Turner.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Vince Lombardi, Paul Brown & Bill Walsh weren't available to accept the position.

No but plenty of other "Name" coaches with successful resumes were (which Haslam said he wanted). But anybody who had any sense didn't want any part of this graveyard of football.

Keep dancing. There were a bunch of retreads. Hiring "names" doesn't equate to success.

There's a reason those "names" were fired to begin with. If they were so great, they'd still have jobs.
